With over 800 members from age 11 upwards, SNV is a well-organised, friendly and competitive club, dedicated to helping people play volleyball. You can:

~ Join a social team at one of our four social competitions

~ Train and play at a competitive level in representative teams

~ Learn and improve skills at social training

~ Play four nights of the week (Mon, Wed, Thu, Sun) across locations including North Ryde, WilloughbyThornleigh and Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre.

Note – our women’s comp sometimes moves to Sydney Olympic Park for the Spring comp beginning in August in each year.

Our competitions, social training and representative programs cater to those who just want to give volleyball a go, as well as experienced players looking to play at a competitive level.

 Social Training

SNV provides social training as often as possible throughout the year, usually on Thursday evenings at Sydney Olympic Park.

If you are a beginner to volleyball, or just looking to improve your skills, this is the best place for you – everyone is welcome!

Time: 8 – 10pm

Who: Anyone 16+ is welcome to attend

Representative

SNV has a strong presence in NSW representative-level indoor volleyball. Friendly and competitive, all SNV teams have a qualified coach and team manager, structured training, club uniforms and a calendar of great events.

Representative teams play in the State Volleyball League (SVL) as well as the NSW State Cup series of weekend tournaments.

Juniors

SNV has a well established Junior Development Program for young athletes.

Spikeroos JDP is an additional opportunity for junior players run by Volleyball NSW and highly recommended by us!
