It is with heavy hearts that from today, Sydney North Volleyball wishes to advise the suspension of all club activities until at least the week beginning April 26th, 2020 due to the continued escalation of the unprecedented COVID-19 situation.
While this is obviously an unfortunate disruption to the volleyball season it is an important and socially responsible position for the Sydney North Volleyball community to take in consideration of our players, officials, coaches and the wider community.
SNV will continue to monitor the situation and a formal update will be provided no later than Wednesday 15 April, 2020 (the Wednesday after Easter) by email, website update and Facebook. This update will include the latest information on social competitions and social & representative training resumption dates. If the situation changes significantly, an update will be provided earlier.
ALL SNV EVENTS ARE SUSPENDED including:
- SNV Social Competitions (all venues)
- SNV Thursday night social training
- SNV Representative Training (Junior & Senior)
The SNV Board will meet again on March 26th, 2020 to discuss details of how this suspension will impact individual programs including conversations about
- Current social comp standings
- Rep uniform orders / uniform nights
- SVL entries
