Luke Magee, Physiotherapist
In a former life before physiotherapy, Luke Magee worked as a biomechanics and strength and conditioning coach. While working for Volleyball Victoria, Luke researched the biomechanics of female jump serving. This previous experience has given him expertise in exercise prescription and biomechanical analysis. Luke knows a lot about volleyball jumping, arm swings, power transfer and injury prevention (so forgive him if he refers to the Libero as “the short position.”) Luke graduated as a physiotherapist from Sydney University in 2011. He started working with Sports Focus Physiotherapy during 2012 while completing his new graduate year at St Vincent’s hospital.
Andrew Hughes, founding partner

Andrew was the Team Physiotherapist for the Australian Men’s Volleyball team over five Olympic Games campaigns, including the Sydney 2000 Australian Olympic Games. Andrew is also a preferred treatment provider for the NSW Institute of Sport.
