SNV traditionally hold a clinic to kick off the new year to help new players find teams and teams find players.
The purpose of this training clinic is to help match new players looking for a team with existing teams needing another player or two. Existing players are also very welcome to attend to shake off the summer cobwebs with some training but we do ask if your team is looking for a new player that you please liaise with Nerradene on the night rather than approach players directly so they don’t end up promised to more than one team!

North Ryde RSL Youth Club 7:30 – 10pm
Everyone welcome, even if you are not looking for a team or if you already have one – come and have a hit and brush off the summer cobwebs!
There is no charge for the clinic; unregistered players will be required to sign a waiver on arrival.
It would be helpful if new players could please email the following information in advance to [email protected] so we can be prepared and also possibly match you up with a team before the night –
~ playing experience, including preferred position if you have one
~ if would you like to join a team or are you just coming for a hit or to try volleyball
~ if you have a preference for location / grade (see options below)
• Monday nights at Willoughby Leisure Centre (A1 and B2 Grades) from 7:30 – 11pm
• Monday nights at North Ryde RSL Youth Club (A2 and B1 Grades) from 7:30 – 11pm
• Wednesday nights at Thornleigh Brickpit (B Grade) from 7:30 – 10:30pm
• Sunday nights at Ryde Aquatic Centre (Women only) from 7 – 9pm
If you are not quite ready for a comp yet, you may be interested in our social training which is a great way to learn the skills and rules of volleyball. We are still waiting for confirmation of courts so keep an eye on our where to play section for updates!
